Rat Cages
Mascot Wire Works rat cages are convenient, affordable and durable. Various design considerations have been built in to each cage such as the elimination of edges where toes or tails can get caught, to ensure that the user can maximise an animal houses full potential. The cages themselves come in three different series; the 28, 34 and 37. On the menu bar to the right, you will see one of these series numbers with letters and numbers after it.
These are just abbreviations only which provide the stock codes for these items.
Basically speaking, R stands for raised and F stands for flat. the number following this is the size in number in centimetres that a lid may be raised. Following from this are either ZP or SS. ZP stands for Zinc Plating whilst SS stands for Stainless Steel. To give an example, a 28R10SS Cage would mean '28' series, 'R'aised, '10'centimetres in 'S'tainless 'S'teel.
