Wild Pig/Boar traps
Pig Trap
Mascot Wire Works manufacture Pig Traps suitable for the removal of wild pigs.
Constructed from Heavy Duty galvanised materials they are both durable and reliable; ensuring many years of trouble free service.
Using a Gravity Door system actuated by a platform, the pig enters the open trap to feed on the bait. Once inside and at the bait, the pig steps on the thick plate and the door is closed. Being a gravity door the pig is not injured in the trap going off, and it enables the trap to work in all sorts of weather.
The trapping mechanism itself has guards built around it to protect it from damage caused by a trapped pig.
Further, being completely enclosed on all 6 sides means that the pig cannot burrow out of the trap, or knock over any part of the trap.

Construction
Heavy Duty frame welded together, with mesh inserted inside frames and stringers for extra strength attached. All works MIG welded together and welds covered with a protective ColdGal finish.
